“You shall not profane My holy name, but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel. I am the LORD who sanctifies you, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD.” Lev.22:32-33.
Jesus taught His disciples to pray: Our Father in heaven Hallowed be thy Name.
God’s Name is hallowed in His people - a life sanctified - exclusively separately from the world and sin ...and for set apart for Him in holiness.
This is a life of separation from anything that will profane or defiled His Name.
It is one thing to confess we are God’s people and yet living a life of sin and practice fornication and adultery: sexual immorality.
If we cheat and steal a deceive people and spew hatred and sow discord among brethren etc ...then we are profaning His Name among those who do not know God - Our Father in heaven.
God’s longing is for His people, sons n daughters n family to hallow His Name in our lives in the midst of those who do not know Him.
God’s holiness is not us following strict regulations or traditions.
God’s holiness is imparted to us by the blood of the lamb and the garment of righteousness on us given/ imputed by Jesus Christ.
Then we come into the Presence of God, His glory is imparted to us and holiness of one aspect of the Glory of God. Holiness is love in utter purity!
Holiness is beauty not of this world but heavenly!
That holiness of God is embodied In our spirit by the nature of God in Christ will begin to radiate the purity of love and the celestial beauty that could expel evil desires and break sinful habits through the power of His love.
Thus we can hallow the Name of God and manifest n display His goodness, love and purity to those around us and they will magnify His Name.
Father, I pray for sons n daughters - draw them close to you and enable them to come into your presence clothe with the garment of righteousness of Christ.
I pray as they pray and worship You, release your presence into their spirit...permeating their heart, soul n body.
I pray for such holiness in your presence to come into them that change them to be like you in holiness. I pray for every uncleanness of heart and words and thoughts be cleansed and your holiness is in their being and behaviour.
I pray these precious ones will hallow Your Name in their lives among the people.
