The Kingdom of God and the Church/ekklesia

The Kingdom of God and the church/ekklesia!

King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon had a dream only Daniel could interpret it as God revealed to him the King's dream and its interpretation, the rest of the magicians and astrologers could not.
In this dream of an Image of a man: head-gold; chest and arm-silver; belly and thighs-bronze; legs-iron; feet-partly iron and partly clay, represents the 5 world Empires.
Babylonian Empire -gold as the rule of the king was supreme. Mede-Persian Empire-silver where the Rule of Law was supreme. Then came the Greek Empire- Military rule through Alexander the Great and lastly the Roman Empire- Civil Administration rule.
The Last Empire- pertaining to the End times- is a mixture of strong civilian Roman rule and a clay-brittle and weak, at most a mixture.

Then came the Kingdom of God- a stone that was cut out without hands which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces. Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver and the gold were crushed. And the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth. (Dan.2:31-35)

Da.2:44-45 " And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall [a]break in pieces and [b]consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. 45 Inasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold—the great God has made known to the king what will come to pass after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation is sure.”

The Kingdom of God is the rule or reign of God on earth.  The kingdom of God covers 4 Spheres:
1. In our personal lives, we can enter into the kingdom of God by being born again by the Spirit of God and by repentance and forgiveness of our sins through the blood of Jesus. It comes like a seed that contains the life and nature of God and can grow into the fullness of God.  The fullest extent can be seen on Jesus in the mountain when his body of transfigured into His glorified state, immortal and heavenly. That was the body Jesus had before He became man. This is our hope "Christ in you the Hope of Glory". Col. 1:27.
2. In our midst- in our community, cities and gatherings. Signs of the kingdom takes place - signs and wonders, healing miracles, deliverances and casting out of demons.  The King has come in our midst and the devil and demons must leave.  He will pour out His spirit and send refreshing. Prostitution, drunkardness, crimes, poverty, curses, and evil habits are broken. Happened in the book of Acts, in various revivals and where God's kingdom comes.
3. God's kingdom comes and advances into the nations of the world and "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." Ps.33:12. This is ongoing and those nations align with His kingdom principles will fulfil the destiny of their nation and purposes God has for them to accomplish.
4. Kingdoms of the world will become the kingdom of His our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever. Rev.11:15. This will happen in the end times.
The church is not the Kingdom of God.  Heaven is not the Kingdom of God.  The rule of God on earth is the kingdom. The church/ekklesia is God's agency or means to advance the kingdom of God.  The ekklesia is God's kingdom Government on earth to manifest His reign and to legislate and enforce His will on earth as it is in Heaven.

Father, I pray for sons and daughters - grant them spirit of wisdom and revelation to know the hope of their calling, their inheritance in you and the power that dwells within them.  Open their spiritual eyes and ears to see and hear what Your Spirit wants to show them and that they may grow and extend their knowledge of You till the fullness of your glory be revealed in them and through them accomplish their God-given destiny and calling.
